Troubleshooting Common Errors in AWS Q: Solutions & Best Practices

Modified on Tue, 4 Feb at 4:34 PM

1. Server not responding error

Users may encounter connectivity issues due to firewall restrictions blocking traffic.

  • Verify Firewall Settings

    • This error is typically caused by your firewall blocking WebSocket traffic.
    • Ensure that TCP port 8443 is permitted and properly configured.
  • IT Team Assistance

    • Please reach out to your Internal IT team to check firewall settings and allow WebSocket requests.
    • Once configured correctly, the connection should work without interruptions.

If the issue persists, please reach out to us for further assistance.

2. User not found

  • Check Email Address Formatting

    • Ensure that you enter the email exactly as provided, including capitalization, as email addresses in the system are case-sensitive.
  • Use the Correct Password

    • If you recently changed your password, make sure you are entering the new password and not the temporary one previously issued.
  • Additional Tips:

    • Avoid copy-pasting passwords if extra spaces might be added.
    • If issues persist, try resetting your password or contact support for further assistance.

3. Bad Request

Users may encounter an error when accessing the platform through their login URL.

  • Retry Login

Open a new browser window and try accessing the platform again using your login URL.

  • Modify the URL if the Issue Persists

If the error occurs again, remove everything in the URL from “error” onwards and reload the page.
This should resolve the issue and allow you to access the platform successfully.
